20th Annual East/West Basketball Challenge
The 20th Annual East/West Basketball Challenge games between Simonds and Harbour View will be held on February 1st at Harbour View High School. The Senior Girls game is at 6pm and the Senior Boys game is at 8pm. Admission is $5.

Quispamsis Lions Club, Big Breakfast, Saturday February 4th, from 8 am - 11 am, at the Quispamsis lions Club 9 Market Street, behind the Foodland Store. Scramble eggs, toast, home fries, bacon, sausages, pancakes, baked beans , coffee, tea , and assorted juices, al for $7.00 per person. The Vagina Monologues - February 9-11 at The BMO Studio Theatre, 112 Princess Street Proceeds go towards women’s non-profit organizations with 90% going locally to Hestia House and 10% going to V-Day’s City of Joy for Congolese women. “A Soprano in Hollywood”- Rebecca Caine, soprano, and Robert Kortgaard, pianist, will be performing at the Westfield United Church (133 Nerepis Road, Grand Bay-Westfield) on Saturday, February 18th at 7:30 pm. Rebecca was the original Cosette in Les Miserables in London and she also played Christine, opposite Michael Crawford, in Phantom of the Opera. The Saint John Branch of the N.B. Genealogical Society will hold their February meeting on Wednesday night, February the 22nd. at 7:00 PM at the Saint John Free Public Library, in the Multipurpose Room. This month our guest speaker will be Doug McQuinn, who will share how five people from coast to coast collaborated on and published an 880 page history and genealogy of William McLeod I and his descendants.
