SUMMARY:Vimy Ridge Tree Planting ceremony
DESCRIPTION:The town of Grand Bay – Westfield will participate in the Vimy Oaks Legacy Program by planting a sapling that is directly descended from oak trees that once grew on Vimy Ridge. This tree will provide a lasting memorial to the sacrifices made by Canada’s brave soldiers in the First World War. \nThe planting will have Mayor Grace Losier and executive Director of Landscape NB/PEI in attendance\, and will be held at the intersection of Macdonald Drive and River Valley Drive\, and will run adjacent to our MADD bench. \n
