Officials say water quality at a popular New Brunswick beach has been rated poor more days than it was rated good during the peak of the summer tourism season. The water quality at Parlee Beach in Shediac has a poor rating again, which means it’s best for children and the elderly to stay out of the water. There are four signs posted in the park advising beach goers of the water quality. The beach is hosting the Canadian surf lifesaving championship this week-end but the event will go ahead despite the water quality.
