The city wants to crack down on vacant lots on the peninsula.

The Telegraph-Journal reports council’s Growth Committee got a report yesterday showing their 287 vacant properties on the peninsula….some empty for decades. The committee recommends the city track down the owners to force them to either build or sell. Some of those lots may actually be owned by the province after the owners failed to pay property taxes.
