Beer sale extended

NB Liquor has announced it will be extending its summer beer promotion until Thanksgiving.

The 53 Days of Summer Savings promotion was designed to keep consumers from crossing the provincial border to buy cheaper beer in Quebec.

Officials say beer drinkers have bought over $15 million worth of the cheaper suds since the sale began July 14th.
