Thefts in Grand Bay-Westfield

RCMP in Grand Bay-Westfield are reminding residents to take precautions following a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the area.

Tuesday morning, 10 vehicles were targeted in the Inglewood Drive and Olive Street areas. Some vehicles were rummaged through and others saw items stolen.

The RCMP is advising residents to keep vehicle windows closed and doors locked at all times; remove all valuables, including electronics, loose change and personal items from vehicles and report any suspicious people or activity around vehicles or homes to local police.
