Missing Man found Dead

The body of a 58-year-old Lower Coverdale man who had been missing since Monday has been found.

RCMP say shortly before 3 p.m. yesterday, members of the Riverview detachment located the man’s vehicle on Falcon Ridge Road in Alma with the help of a police helicopter. The man’s body was discovered on an embankment not far from the vehicle.

Foul play is not suspected at this time, but an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
