Vehicles Targeted By Thieves In Grand Bay-Westfield

RCMP in Grand Bay-Westfield are reminding residents to take precautions following a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the area.

Mounties say early Tuesday morning, 10 vehicles were targeted in the Inglewood Drive and Olive Street areas of Grand Bay-Westfield.
Some vehicles were rummaged through and others had items stolen from them.

The RCMP is advising residents to keep vehicle windows closed and doors locked at all times; remove all valuables, including electronics, loose change and personal items from vehicles and report any suspicious people or activity around vehicles or homes to local police.
