1985 was the year Prince Harry was born. New Coke hit the shelves and the wreck of the Titanic was discovered. Live Aid concerts were held around the world for famine relief in Ethiopia. On the Top 40 list this week in 1985 were Wham and Don Henley.

 

 

Sunday’s 70’s Countdown: FEBRUARY 5, 1977
8 am – 11 am

1977 saw Pierre Trudeau separate from his wife Margaret Sinclair. TV shows that came to an end included Pig and Whistle and Howie Meeker’s Hockey School. Apple Computer was incorporated. Star Wars opened in movie theatres. Elvis Presley performed his last concert on June 26th and died in August 0f 1977. Leo Sayer and Mary MacGregor were 2 of the stars on this week’s Top 40 countdown from 1977.
